The opening hole at Polokwane Golf Club provides a welcoming start to your round, but it still demands accuracy from the tee. This Par 4 gently introduces players to the character of the course with a wide fairway framed by mature trees and the natural bushveld landscape.

Although the landing area appears generous, careful club selection off the tee is important to position yourself well for the approach. A solid drive down the centre of the fairway leaves a comfortable shot into the green, while drives drifting too far offline can quickly find the rough or bring the strategically placed bunkers into play.
